Designing User-Friendly Interfaces for Pervasive Gaming Applications Carsten Röcker1, Carsten Magerkurth1, Steve Hinske2, Matthias Lampe2 1 Fraunhofer IPSI, AMBIENTE Dolivostrasse 15 64293 Darmstadt, Germany {roecker, magerkurth}@ipsi.fraunhofer.de 2 Institute for Pervasive Computing ETH Zurich, Switzerland {steve.hinske, lampe}@inf.ethz.ch This chapter presents a formative multi-method evaluation on future gaming systems. Following a scenario-driven approach, quantitative and qualitative methods are employed to elicit feedback from different target user populations. Based on the results of the different evaluation parts, a set of design requirements for future home entertainment systems is derived.
