Augmented Photoalbum Implementation for Cell-phone (S)

Status: Abgeschlossen

The objective of the semester project is extend the prototypical implementation of the Augmented Photo Album for a Symbian OS cell-phone with Bluetooth capabilities. The cell-phone implementation should then be able to communicate with an existing implementation on a Tablet PC.

The existing Augmented Photoalbum allows a user to get additional information and related photos while browsing through prints of his or her digital photos. The photo prints are tagged using Hitachi's RFID ยต-chip to identify them and retrieve the meta-information about the photo, for example, the time, date or location the photo was taken. The multi-user capabilities allow the exchange of digital photos using the photo print as the user interface for the interaction.

The project can already be started or completed in the semester vacations (Jul-Sep).
