Research Assistant Positions

PhD Positions

We are always looking for outstanding graduates who are interested in pursuing a PhD in the field of Pervasive Computing (e.g., Internet of Things, smart energy, sensor networks, mobile computing, augmented reality, and related domains). Our group offers full positions as research assistants in a unique environment with excellent facilities. Besides their research, assistants are engaged in teaching and industry collaborations. For more details about our activities, please have a look at our research projects.

Prospective PhD students should:

  • be highly qualified with a strong background in computer science (electrical engineering and other related fields are also welcome)
  • show initiative and ambition for their work
  • have good programming skills in multiple languages
  • be creative and experienced in (distributed) system design
  • enjoy working collaboratively in a group
  • have prior experience abroad
  • be fluent in written and spoken English and German (requirement for teaching activities)
